To complement our article “How to configure and use IFTTT with MyOmBox and your Google Assistant“, it may be useful to know some interesting services and triggers that can be used with IFTTT. In any case, to initiate the action on your MyOmBox you will have to go through an IFTTT “Webhooks” action that will launch the action you have configured (see our previous post).
Remember that MyOmBox has in its administration, a “creation mode” and “Trigger HTTP“. It is also possible from MyOmBox to call actions to IFTTT! For example, to set the temperature of your Nest Thermostat or to activate an alarm not supported by MyOmBox …
